Just had some very cheering news indeed. The Brathay 10 in 10 marathon runners have dedicated today’s marathon to the memory of Orlando. Today’s marathon being the 7th of 10. It is three years ago today that Orlando died.
This dedication of marathon 7 to Orlando is so very poignant and appreciated and a lovely gesture on the part of all the runners and the team at Brathay.
Reading the blog posts by the Brathay marathon runners, doing a marathon a day for ten days around lake Windermere, certainly brings home the pain and effort and grit involved. Have a read and get the feel of what they are enduring. Admire their efforts and achievements and sponsor them if you so choose.
