Just had some very cheering news indeed. The Brathay 10 in 10 marathon runners have dedicated today’s marathon to the memory of Orlando. Today’s marathon being the 7th of 10. It is three years ago today that Orlando died. This dedication of marathon 7 to Orlando is so very poignant and appreciated and a lovely gesture on the part of all the runners and the team at Brathay.
Ever heard of Vikingarränet? Ice Skating for 80km on natural ice in Sweden. 16th February 2014 You may recall Rich recently cycled from UK to Morocco, raising funds for Orlando Rogers Foundation. During that cycle ride he was dared to enter this annual Swedish ice skating race. He accepted the challenge of the dare. Being the man he is, he could hardly say no. He wasn’t going to do it
For one of our biggest fundraisers to date, Torquay Athletic RFC plays the generous host this Boxing Day for a rugby show-piece. The annual game between Torquay Old Grammarians and Torquay Rugby Club will be a three-way this year, also featuring an Orlando Rogers XV made up of Orlando’s fellow team mates who all toured South Africa together 10 years ago.

The Ball held at the Berry Head Hotel on 12th May was a great success and we now have sufficient funds to register the charity! The organisers, George, Nikki, John and Julia would like to thank everybody who attended or contributed in any way to this memorable event.
