9th May – Orlando’s 29th birthday. The day Adam Holland commences the first of ten consecutive marathons around Lake Windermere in the Brathay 10 in 10 challenge. Gemma ran her very first half marathon in Cardiff today in a very decent time of 2.38 She must have been a bit apprehensive doing a first ever marathon but having finished successfully Gemma has said she really enjoyed it. We look forward to sharing photos with you once Gemma has had chance to send them on. She’s raised loads of funds for the Foundation too so its a win
Angela Madsen, Ocean Rower and Paralympian, will be setting off tomorrow Saturday 8th June from Santa Cruz on her solo row to Hawaii. Last minute preparations are underway and her boat ‘The Spirit of Orlando’ is loaded and ready to be put in the Ocean at Santa Cruz.
The Orlando Rogers Foundation is super excited to hear that Ben Lewis is running the Paris Marathon for the Orlando Rogers Foundation on 7th April 2013.
